Warm welcome to you who are reading this. I'm Syameen and in this page I will share to you about the internet personality who shaped my time management by her weekly vlogs.
Remember how dreadful we felt during the Covid-19 pandemic era? Same. A little share of myself, I am a person who is a fan of watching various YouTuber's vlog since the age of 14. Honestly, they all felt the same and I only watched them as a source of entertainment. Fast forward to when the pandemic occurred and unfortunately I was one of those who had to lock herself in the room from her family for the duration of 14 days. With that happened, Alex Bondoc, for all reason appeared in my "Recommendation" page on my YouTube account. Obviously due to the minimalistic thumbnail of hers, I decided to click onto her video.
Knowing myself, I would often draw myself into random daily vlogs of any YouTubers, but when I came across Alex's for the first time, her contents has made me run through a marathon of all her vlogs that she has been uploading since 2019 till 2021. I wouldn't say it was a waste of my 3 hours on that particular day as to my own surprised, I have been inspired from her vlogs to become more productive, specifically when it comes to academic.

As she and her own channel grows along the years, it was than she had her own fandom called the "Beary Club", and recently she has made an Instagram Channel for her followers to be in the same room where we could communicate with each other. I have learnt from other "Beary" that they have shared the same experience as me, having Alex's weekly "Slice of life" vlogs keeping them productive and finding the means of managing time appropriately.
Alex did not only inspire me to be more productive with her "Slice of my Life" vlogs, but has also been the reason why I have started to meal prep for school. Throughout her videos, she has been showcasing meal prepping her own meals and even for her siblings.
Despite not being a makeup person myself, her videos has been lighting me up with knowledge about Asian makeup tutorials and I often fall in awe in the portrayal of naturalness she shows for makeup. Nevertheless, even though not being a makeup person, I am still a hardcore skincare person, and Alex also shares her daily skincare routine that has been coming in handy. The thought of her to advocate viewers to take care of their facial skin in a more friendly-budget of her portrays the humbleness she has within herself.

In one of her "Slice of Life" vlogs, Alex has shared her story about the changes she made in her degree major, from Business to Nursing, seeking for the right path that suits her passion and interest as a university student. She mentioned that despite having months or years focusing on something and suddenly had the urge to transition degrees/majors, it shall not be considered as a waste of time as it is the main help of where we finally get to know what do we really want to do. With that being said, I personally got inspired by her advices that she shared and transitioned my major from Design to Communication as I was not confident enough in knowing what was right for me, Alex provided me the strength in exploring the right course that I am capable and good at.
As someone who gets inspired to stay productive on her daily life and getting the right means in having a balance in "work-life balance" in the terms of university life, I would like to dedicate this blog to Alex Bondoc, for being one of the reason I am leading a well-balanced student life since middle school. Thank you, Alex.
